Since day one of SOCIALDEVIANT, we’ve been working toward one goal – to be the world’s kindest company.
For us, this is not about a set of words, or mantras, or laminated values we hang on the wall.
It is, instead, an operating model which guides our behavior every single day. An operating model that is specific, actionable, and measureable.
For us, kindness is about accountability. It’s about delivering ever-increasing value for our clients. It’s about listening with intent, and operating with purpose. It’s about saying what you mean, and meaning what you say.
Every day, it’s about actions, not words.
Like all great brands, our brand promise – to be the world’s kindest company – is a promise which must be fulfilled. Less talking, more doing.
And so, it’s only fitting that today, on the first day of Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) week, SOCIALDEVIANT launches a weeklong series of acts of kindness, all over our hometown of Chicago.
Not just any acts of kindness. But those that especially have meaning for us, based on our kindness operating model. Here’s what we’ll be up to, day by day:
DAY 1: Coffee for strangers (one of my personal favorites…at a Starbucks, we pay for everyone’s coffee for 20 minutes. It’s amazing to see the impact such a small act can have on someone’s day)
DAY 2: SD Doorman
DAY 3: Shovel our neighbors sidewalks
DAY 4: Charity – Lunch bags for Those in Need
DAY 5: Nice to our Neighbors
You can join in by following us all week, here: #DEVIANTKindness (and you’ll also see some great things happening at #RAKWeek).
Beyond following us, I encourage you to please join in by doing whatever you can this week to create more kindness in the world.
Because no action – no act of kindness – is ever too small to matter.
